About Us
Logos and Agape Christian Church is a cross-denomination international Christian church. It has a physical church in Tokyo, Japan, and also connects multiple cities in China, Canada, the United States, etc. conducting online services and meetings. We believe that “All scripture is given by inspiration of God” (2 Timothy 3:16); the "Apostles' Creed" is our declaration of faith.
The word "Logos" in Church name means “the Word of God”, “truth”; the word "Agape" means “the love of God for man”, “unconditional love”. The fellowship of the saints is on the foundation of love and truth. " the kingdom of God is ...righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost." (Romans 14:17) We look forward to the kingdom of God coming here.
Church History
In May 2018, several believers in Japan, China, and the United States started a Bible study group and had meetings via WeChat every week; and also started to organize evangelism activities in Shanghai, Xinjiang, Tokyo, Japan and other places under the name of "Christian Missions Group", and printed gospel leaflets. From February 2020, we began to conduct Sunday services on site in Tokyo every week. Thereafter, we started daily morning prayer meetings. In April 2020, a team of co-workers is formed. We started to officially use name “Logos and Agape Christian Church” to organize activities from October 2020. We will register the Church in Tokyo.
Church Mission
1) Preaching the gospel and lead people to believe in the Lord;
2) Sharing the word of God so as to enable people to grow up spiritually, and seek a prosperous life without being controlled by the environment.
Church Administration
We refer to the Religious Corporation Law of Japan; and we announce financial statements regularly.
Church Members
Church is now mainly composed of people from China, Japan, Canada, and the United States. We welcome members who are willing to join us.
Preachers and Co-workers
We have a preacher who was originally graduated from Renmin University of China, having worked in three Fortune 500 companies in Japan, studied theology by telecommunication course at a seminary in Tokyo for two years and also took one-year study in Family Counseling, and now is studying for a master's degree program in pastoral education, online course, at a seminary in America in 2019. Another preacher is graduated from a seminary in the United States with a master’s degree in pastoral education. A co-founder who has served in a church in China for nearly 30 years and have also pioneered church is serving our Church. We have a psychological counselor who is a university teacher majored in psychology, and have provided psychological counseling inside and outside the school. She has been providing free psychological counseling support to Church. There are some other co-workers who are dedicated to Church, spending spare time to pray for and help others unconditionally. We see many people healed by God via their prayer.
Meetings and Team Healing Prayers
Over the past two years, we have had meetings more than three times a week without interruption. In the form of a team, we have prayed for the healing of people who are weak either physically or mentally. There have been dozens of testimonies of being healed at the time or gradually, diseases including headaches, stomach pains, gastritis, chest and back pains, waist injuries, Uterine fibroid, eye diseases, long and short legs, long and short arms, sleep disorders, depression, organ diseases, etc. Glory to God! The miracles “gave testimony unto the word of his grace” (Acts 14:3). The God we believe in is a living God. “With God nothing shall be impossible.” (Luke 1:37)
